203 - The Jesus We Lost: Recovering the Teacher Behind the Savior

For two thousand years, we’ve known Jesus as Messiah, Son of God, Lord and Savior. But somewhere along the way, another Jesus largely disappeared from view: Jesus the Teacher. In this message from a Sunday Gathering sermon, we explore what happened to that Jesus and why recovering him matters now. Drawing on Robert’s forthcoming book, The Teacher: Reclaiming the Original Message of Jesus of Nazareth, we’ll return to the Gospels and encounter a Jesus who taught an astonishing vision of how to be in this world and why it matters now.
